VegOut Forestry: A Powerful New Tool for CT Conservation Lands
VegOut Forestry is dedicated to providing invaluable benefits to Connecticut’s conservation lands and ensuring our services align with the mission to protect and restore natural resources effectively and responsibly. With a growing number of invasive species and tick species, our goal is to provide management services to preserve Connecticut conservation lands.
Forestry Mulching is a fairly new approach in the northeast, offering an innovative and eco-friendly approach for managing conservation lands. This method, often considered a “secret weapon” for conservationist, is the process of using a forestry mulching head on either our low ground pressure excavator or skid steer to effectively clear overgrown and invasive vegetation or unwanted/dead trees, while integrating the remaining beneficial nutrients back into the soil and eliminating habitats for ticks. Unlike traditional land clearing methods, forestry mulching minimizes environmental disruption, reduces the need for herbicide treatments and promotes the natural regeneration and preservation of native eco systems. Additionally, our methods promote wildfire prevention by reducing the fuel loads within the landscape.
VegOut Forestry’s sustainable approach is ideal for the improvement of wildlife habitats, biodiversity enhancement and the maintenance balance critical to long-term preservation efforts. VegOut Forestry can also create and maintain trails using our specialized equipment, clearing underbrush and invasive species throughout the land resulting in a park-like setting to allow nature lovers to enjoy the beautiful landscapes to the fullest.
